I have no comments on your play. Im just starting to learn how to play stud H/L.
But I dont get why Nobricks reraise u on 6th with only a pair of Aces and a low draw. When u are showing QQQ. Why does he do that? Is there any valid reason for doing so. And if so, can anybody explain? |

My guess is he got the T on 7th and started with A5/A. He raises because he knows that spike can't have a low hand, so he is sure to win at least half the pot. If spike doesn't have a boat, Nobricks is freerolling with a flushdraw + gutshot. If spike has the boat, the pot gets chopped anyway so it doesn't matter. Definitely a good raise on his part.
I don't really know why he doesn't bet on 7th street, since he has low locked up. Even if there's only a 0.1% chance his opponent folds, it's still a +EV bet, since the rake is capped out at this point anyway. |

Okay I was under the impression that the start hand was A10/A, and then u have to agree that a reraise with only pair of Aces, and a low draw is a bad idea. |

3rd : not too loose. It's 4 handed.
5th : good bet.
6th : Check-call. Put yourself in their shoes (Joe and Lethal). Are you really calling a bet, then up to 3 more to draw to half the pot? Bricks has to bet to charge worse lows to draw. Since half the pot is probably gone, give the other players the best odds to draw. You don't care who gets the other half, just that your half is as big as possible. Maybe Bricks is on a semibluff with trips or a flush and you'll price the draws into half the pot. You want to take that chance.
7th : Bad check from him, worse check from you. He KNOWS he's splitting the pot. AFAYK, he was rolled up and missed (or has AsKsTs or something). Bet-call is your line. |

It's 4-handed so the rake is capped at $2. No rake is taken past the point where the pot is $40, and it's almost that big on 3rd street.. If you were playing micros, on the other hand, then you might have a point, though the rake isn't usually big enough to have that much of an effect. |
