I played my first Horse tournament the other day and loved it. It was the 10 dollar tourny, 90 people started, i took 12th. It definately helped me get better at the games that i am a bit rusty on. I never knew how to play razz that well, but i learned so much and had a lot of fun in this tourny. I recommend everyone to go and try one out.

I played HORSE for the first time in one of the $5 sit and goes tonight, and took first. I also loved it.

That is pretty cool that they have those now. They are pretty easy if you know how to play all 5 games well.

I just discovered this a couple of nights ago. Played a couple of $10 SnGs (a 5th and a 1st) on Tuesday night, played a $20 MTT Thursday afternoon and finished just out of the money at 11th of about 55. Played in two $20 SnGs Thursday night with Andy Bloch. Finished third in the first one when Bloch steamrolled everybody. Went out 8th in the second one -- not sure how Bloch did in that one, but he was struggling when I went out.

It's a blast. It's my new favorite game, probably will dominate my tournament play at least for awhile.

Wow i cannnot believe how much I love this game. Played my first horse game(and Razz for that matter) saturday in a $5 MTT, I took first for $159. Logged on sunday and looked for another. Alas no MTT's but there was a SNG so for $10 I joined and won $40 for first. Looked around the site some more and found a $26 Qualifier for Sunday Night Horse, ok Im up $30 for the morning so I enter and take 5th, needing at least 9th to qualify. Now I'm amped, just learned a new game and its really got me goin. Now I started that morning with $10 and now I'm playing the $216 buy in for that same $10, great huh. Whats better yet is I went on to take third for $2600, MAN I LOVE THIS GAME.

Since I really only play Omaha and No Limit, I was surprised to do OK in a HORSE Freeroll (top 20%). The one big problem for me was the proximity of the omaha hi-/lo and 7-card stud. On more than one occasion, I evaluated my first stud hand of the blind as I would for Omaha. I'm hoping that ESPN shows the Horse tournament from this year's WSOP.

duelindalton & mosadi, you should join us Tonight (and every Thursday night) for the message board Horse tourny, it's $5 and the top three places also get FT points added to their account. Go to Tournies, then "Private" then look up the 9 o'clock (eastern time) HORSE tounement and when you register enter "forum" in the password section.
Hope to see you there!

I read this message too late to get into the tournament tonight, but will play in it next week. Thanks for the info.
