| Of course they shuffle the hole cards in live play. In razz there is no real way to know what order the hole cards were dealt. Any one of us would do the same thing. So it is live, so be it online. Good rule IMO. |

You're certainly not the only one bothered by this rule. FTP is on record for doing it because it better simulates a live game where you don't have to show down your cards in the order they were dealt but can shuffle them or order them however you like. I think you'll find at least as many players who like the rule as those who don't. |
Really? Why would this rule EVER bother people?
Let me put the question this way... Lets say Full tilt gave every player the option to either shuffle your own cards or not. Why would you ever choose not to shuffle them? Look at how much info you would be giving your opponents, which they (most likely) would be denying you!
Now, I could see an argument for having an option, like they do for mucking in holdum, and you could check "autoshuffle" just like you can "automuck". That would make some sense, but to permanently make it so the cards don't shuffle would be terrible. |
