This raise here is really bad. You should really be raising the pot in this spot. There are so many draws out there that you can't afford to let them see it so cheaply. I would check raise or lead out the pot in this sitaution. You have to worry about flush draws and straight draws. Get value out of your hand by charging them for their draws.

Your check-raise on the flop gave Sabre12 better than 5:1 (500 pot, 80 more to call) to make a hand that can beat three kings and because he called, nizzys got better than 6:1 to call.

Looking at Sabre12's hand, he had 8 cards to make a nut flush and 3 tens to make a nut straight.

Accepted Poker theory is that you want to make it incorrect for the opponent to call. This is why people playing limit games get frustrated, you often can't bet enough to make it incorrect to call. But this is Pot Limit and you have some freedom.

Your check-raise runs the risk of giving a free card to a hand that can beat you, but chances are good that a player in position would bet a nut flush draw. The best thing about the c/r is that it allows you to raise a larger amount - an 80 call plus everything already bet.

A raise at this point of at least half the pot is warranted because it offers Sabre12 a pot of 630 for a 210 call or 3:1 to make his hand. Some players, like drtre1987 like to raise the whole pot in this situation and make it wrong for any draws to call even if they have 20 outs. That way, you either win the pot right there - with no risk - or you are a big favorite to win if they call. The downside is that you may get yourself into a situation where if a bad card comes, you will have difficulty getting away from your hand. Remember, a bad card will show up on the turn about 20% of the time and another 20% of the time on the river. In tournaments, you hope to find yourself ahead on the flop many times, but you don't want to commit all of your chips every time or you will certainly bust out eventually (and have a bad beat story). You can't go back to your pocket in a tournament like you can in a cash game.

Your turn bet was perfect. 350 into pot of 660 when a safe card came out. He could only be figuring that if he made his flush that he would get some additional chips on the river.

Then he got really unlucky and he played really, bad. Betting into a paired board with a flush, having been check-raised on the flop and then calling a check-raise on the river?

A better player would have either checked behind you or folded a vulnerable nut flush to your check-raise on the end.

Whether you value bet on the end or check-raise depends on what you think your chances are that he will bet if you check.

The reason to pot bet/raise in this situation is because although you are overcharging them for their draws, they will call it anyways. In higher stakes games, always betting the pot will often be wrong, but in the lower stakes games and freerolls where they will call you with a disregard to pot odds, it is better to just charge more while you can.
