Its more than likely a player won't remember 99 out of his 100 hands won, but the 1 hand he got sucked out on will haunt him. So instead why don't we start a threat talking about being on the receiving end of a suckout.

my story is that i was playing a HU SNG the other day and was down in chips about 800 to 2200. I picked up 77 and as the button raised me, i reraised all in. He showed KQ and it was off to the flop. Flop came K95 two diamonds. next two cards came Jd 4d giving me a runner runner flush, after being drawn out after the flop. The very next hand i was delt QQ and he pushed all-in with 55 and i immediately called.

Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside thinking about being on the better end of a runner-runner flush...

this happened at a live final table. I'm short stack with about 7 people left, winner take all.

I post BB. have about 2 BB left. 2 limpers to me and i see T5 suited. I push just hoping they'll fold, neither has limped all day with anything. Which should have been a clue, but oh well. Both call my all in and turn over AKo.

flop TT5. Laughing

oops.
