I've noticed that once you win a big tournament, full tilt makes sure you lose the money you've won. I've won a couple of tournaments and have found that immediately following the tournament, you get outstanding hand after outstanding hand that gets bad beat after bad beat after bad beat until your money is below what you put in to begin with.
Looking at over a year on this site, the only conclusion is that full tilt lets you win just enough to keep you playing, then makes sure that the "bad" players (those who don't know stradegy) get lucky over and over again until they win.
Yes, this means THAT FULL TILT DOES NOT USE A RANDOM GENERATOR if this is true. If you want to have fun playing, go ahead and use the site. But don't for a moment think you can get ahead. The site won't allow it.

Liar. I have gotten ahead (and many more have as well). Kind of puts a hole in your theory doesn't it? |

"Not knowing stradegy" is just about as bad as not being able to spell it. |

Having analyzed several thousand profiles of people who play here, some do indeed make money. And a lot of it. I was actually testing a theory (not mine) that the site was 'rigged' to allow you to win until your deposit was fulfilled, then take it all back so that you are forced to reload. What did I find? Nothing. Well, one kind of bizarre thing. Many people have some rediculous spikes in losing...and I don't just mean a bad luck streak...I mean they completely tank and lose 60-80% of their bankroll in a very short period of time. This seems to be extraordinarily common with the majority of players)...but overall, the payouts/winners/losers were random across the board. And, about 20% of the people have won overall...80% have lost. So, your theory just doesn't hold water. |

Those %'s are very similar to those of all winning and losing gamblers,we need 80 % or more to be losers in order to win.We ( players) are constantly losing players who find out they cant win........and they are re-placed with new ones ......till they learn.
Im saying similar....because over all the rate of losers to winners is more like 95 to 5 % for all gambling ventures. With only 3 % winning consistently over a long period of time ( over one year ) |

People do lose a lot of chips after winning or going deep in a tourney, but it has nothing to do with FTP. The lose their money because after that big tourney cash they think they're superstars and jump limits.
It happened to me after my first big tourney cash. Started playing $1/2 NLHE and lost a couple buyins overplaying AK. Finally I hit a set, and won back some of the money I donked away and got the hell out of there. Luckily I only dumped about $300 that day.
Also, bad players don't win enough to keep playing, they slowly lose all their money until they have to redeposit. You're only seeing them double up against you, but what you don't see is 20 mins after you leave they join another table, and donk away all they won off of you. Trust me, that's how it works. They may get lucky for a bit, but eventually their muck runs out, and so does their money. |

I have to agree that FT does not use a random generator. The losses I've had for a while now cannot be coincidence. If you know anything about poker at all, you know that mathematically you can’t loose over and over with the best hand, especially not to ridiculous beats. Don’t get me wrong, I know bad beats (or just simple bad luck) happens, more often than any of us would like. But I play in live tourneys all the time, and I am very good at matching odds… when this site says “tag, you’re it”, you might as well sit back and forget about it because the odds are no longer fair and even. Maybe I believe a little too much in statistics, but nevertheless, they’ve always proven correct for me so I’ll continue. And statistically, if a player plays every day, plays very well and time after time has the best hand – that same player doesn’t get beat by basically nothing every time they play for weeks at a time. Not randomly anyway! Don’t get me wrong – I’m not speaking as a ‘sore loser’, I play for money that matters against people I can see, not against a computer; but it is still very disheartening to play on here for enjoyment and practice only to have the computer decide it’s not your “turn” to win this month (or however long they keep you “tagged”). Nothing personal against FT however, I’ve been playing for years, and all of the sites are doing it more and more. But for those of you that may be fairly new at playing online – it wasn’t always like this… that is what is so sad about it!! And it doesn’t bother me if you copy my post into yours so you can call me an idiot or make fun of what I’ve said, I don’t come in here and read these things enough to know it if you do. After all, it is my belief that anyone who actually believes FT, or any online gaming site, is here for you and your enjoyment and not for your money doesn’t have anything to say that I would want to hear. Happy weekend and Happy Holidays to all!! |
