Where do I start?
The beginning

Hey there, i'm just getting reinvolved with this forum again [if I ever really started lol], but am a respected member at 2 staking sites/forums Stakesrus.com and Ajpoker.com both under Friggy_Jackson and my FTP screen name Shoremen8938.
I'm assuming also this is 50/50 SB? |
I did not find a listing at StakesRus.
AJPoker has this gem.

The end
CD, you need more help than this forum can give. I'll give it my best shot, even though I'm 100% sure it will fall on deaf ears.
Just stop. Don't borrow, don't loan, don't give or accept stakes.
You are in a death spiral. I sure you know it, but are in denial.
Cash out, buy a guitar, exclude youself on all sites for a month, and go to GA.
Or...
PM or post before you consider another transfer of any amount for any reason to anyone. Then let us talk you out of it.
Or, transfer your balance to me, (or any forum regular that you feel might actually care about your well being), minus $100. I'll dole out $100 per month. No more, no less. If I catch you playing above .05/.10 or higher than $5 SNG or MTT, I donate the balance to GA, without hesitation or recourse.
Serious. |

I see you haven't changed though. Nice. |
No, I haven't changed into somebody who thinks "you are retarded" is a good post. Sorry.
Clamper is right, CD. You're getting mixed up in all this weird twisted stuff that never works out well. |

I swear you've become the official forum trainwreck CD. From now on, before you do anything with money, borrow or lend, think about it for a day or two before you actually do it. Think about what could/will result from you loaning/borrowing money from anyone. Seriously. When it gets to the point where your dad is calling people on your behalf, you've got to realize that something is really wrong with the picture.
Good story though, thanks. |

Figure this would entertain people quite thoroughly. I don't see how this shows I have a gambling problem what so ever? I realize that loaning money out was dumb, and don't plan on doing it ever again, but how do I need to go to GA??
I had like 6 months of history with this guy, and he'd always paid me back in the past, with interest, and on time. I was stupid for loaning out money again, but he gave me like overall 25% interest on the loan which was sick deal to me at the time.
I know this was quite retarded... we live and we learn, this was the 1st time I've ever been scammed fwiw. I don't see how me making this mistake for the first time deserves insane amounts of insults.
Again, I wasn't really looking for this to happen, but the drama queens have come out to play again. I just wanted people to be entertained, and never stake/loan this guy, ever. Apparently I should be shot for trying to help people out. |

I see. I guess I'll have to go back and check where I claimed my observation to be "a good post". CD made an idiotic move. Hopefully he learns from it, but I stated as such. If only I had pretended to be a woman, maybe you would've been nice instead of replying with such a "good post" yourself.

| LOL, first attempted cubbies-related insult in months. Does anyone have proof that DDA and Domer aren't the same person? |

Then stop stooping to his level. You've got a little more self-respect than making up garbage like the stupidest 10% of this forum did for a while. I'm sure you can find something fact-based to insult me about. |

Whatever, I guess. While I don't come around much anymore (the aforementioned stupidest 10% of the forum as the culprit), I'd like to consider myself one of the "good guys" of the forum. I simply chime in with an opinion that a handful of others have taken within the same thread, yet unprovoked you feel the need to throw a jab @ me.
Naturally, I respond, yet my comments are garbage and you are the almighty Jobe, voice of reason. Neat. |

There's actually 12 questions it asks you (I remember from Jongreenway's thread) and if you answer yes to 3+ (I think) of them you're an addict. I think 95% of the forum answered yes to 5+, lol.
PS: I don't have money troubles in the sense that GA means. It means do you have trouble paying bills, does it affect your stability money wise etc. The answer to those questions is no to me. I have $100-$150 invested in deposits in online poker, and I have a few thousand in withdrawls.
I play online poker for fun, and for a bit of money too. I'm very competitive, and poker is a great competitive thing. That's why I play it. |

I'm not sure where I'm going with this, so please hang until the end. I'll try to make some sense.
This wasn't entertainment for me. It was ghastly.
You might or might not have a gambling problem, per se, but your recent post regarding bankroll management, and your debacle after farce after fiasco involving trades, loans, and stakes, makes it glaringly obvious that you have a money problem.
You can't manage it worth shit. You have to be able to see that by now. Until you see that, then there is nothing anyone can do to help you.
Answer to yourself. Not me, not anyone else. Plumb the depths of your soul, and ask yourself this one question.
"Do I have a money problem?"
Once you are able to admit it to yourself, then your are ready to deal with it. If you say no, you are in denial.
Does this remind anyone of Alchoholics Anonymous?
Let me tell you a story.
After my third drunk driving, the court mandated that I attend AA. l went, kicking and screaming, but I went. I didn't want to waste my time with all those loser drunks.
But hell, I was there, so I might as well listen.
What I heard changed my life.
Not any one story. Nobody's story is the same. But there was a snippet here, a nugget there, and one by one, each person told a part of my story.
Guess what. I became an alchoholic at those meetings. I realized that even though I had a good job, payed my bills on time, and had an otherwise good life, I was not unlucky. I had a problem making the right decisions.
My poor decisions were costing me, big time. I realized that if I continued to do that, that one day, some serious trouble was coming my way.
I also realized that it was imminently preventable, by just one 'small' adjustment in my life. If I drink, don't drive. If I drive, don't drink.
So what does this have to with CD?
Try this, and find out.
Go to GA. Three times. Different days, different times. Just do it.
Listen, don't talk, just listen.
Then as soon as the third meeting is over, ask youself this question.
"Do I have a money problem?"
Then listen closely to your answer. |

Great post Clamper.
CD, I know you meant well by posting so that none of us will do any dealings with this guy. But really, I wouldn't get in that jam anyway. Lending friends a few bucks to play some poker is one thing. But, to get to that level is just insane. Your OP made me ill not entertained. |
