Girlypro was there, but not for long
before we hit stud hi/low she was gone.
Also the all man cubbies was there
thinkin a hit a st8 when all i had was 2 pair
Split a few good pots with Tiera Starr
thought that i might go far
Then to the table came the man they call Strasse
when he rivered them trips i almost cursed him out
But i didnt, just kept my mind on my stack
even managed to get most of it back
Made the final table, carpenters three
dumwaldo, Diacritial and of couse me
Started to think i might cash, when
that ballin Strasse outdrew me again
Got kings to start, bet it along
when metsfan hit an ace i knew i was gone
Came seventh, after the hit on the 6th street
oh well, see y'all next week |

I started w/ 3 to a straight flush, you started w/ 3 High cards to broadway. By 5th, I had two pair, and you had a gutshot to broadway. You hit a pair on 6th, and missed on 7th. I was pretty much ahead of you the whole way.

It is pronounced strah-suh. If you want an example of what it rhymes w/, I guess it would be bra-duh.
I was on my other computer for the MBJ last night, so I don't have the HH at the moment, but I didn't hit my 2nd pair OTR. I think maybe I hit a pair on 4th, a flush draw on 5th, and a 2nd pair on 6th, whenever you hit your first pair(7s) that was showing. Either way, even if I did hit my 2nd pair on 7th(which I am 100% positive that I didn't), you still hit your first pair on 6th, two streets after I already had a pair. It goes both ways. |

That was pretty entertaining.
I know there is some confusion on the pronunciation of Strasse, but I'm wondering how you pronounced it to think that it may rhyme with out. |

Yes, started w/ 346, and actually had you on 3rd, not 4th. Using twodimes.net, I ran the equity calculations on each street. Here they are:
My Equity
3rd: .591
4th: .614
5th: .780
6th: .766 |

| thanks Strasse after checking out the twodimes site i realized ive been overplaying marginal hands in stud a lot.i played a 350 player 1$ buyin on stars after this and folded times i would have called and finished 36. i should change "that ballin Strasse outdrew me again" to that ballin Strasse outplayed me again. |

And here I've been mispronouncing it all along, think it would rhyme well with "ass" (pronounced arse, not the way the Americans pronounce it). |
