NH, Sir. Part of what I think people forget is that EVERYTHING evolves - poker is one of the most changeable of card games, or sets of games, and Razz or SnG's or having two blinds in Hold "Em, or even using all 52 cards, all relatively new adaptations of the game.
I think it was only sometime in the thirties when a mathematician proved a flush should beat a straight - change is good - keeps us sharp - |

razz is stud to a hold em player.
think it over real fast.
ok get it? NL HE players can't play stud because it requires actually skill instead of SMASHING ALL IN to get someone to stop calling.
LIMIT. that's why NL HE players suck at limit hold em. no patience at all.
if you can't figure razz out, you obviously don't play stud hi/lo. they are challenging games that require you to outplay/outwit/outlast your opponents.
no offense, i'm not impressed with you 89 all in fear smash, then someone player calls with AA only to see 765 on the flop. gets old after a while. |

Razz is poker. A masochistic form of poker, but still poker.
It's tame, though, compared to triple draw lowball. That just seems REALLY insane, but it might be worth it to add to the site. |

| razz is a game made dor people to go on tilt. a good razz player can let go of a good hand. anyone can play any poker game but no limit holdem is just the popular one and anyone that has a tv can think he knows how to play. congrats follow the cattle pigon hole yourself to one game limit any game is the bet not the amount but if you can't figure that out keep going all in and miss why you have to be good at all games to be a poker player. |

Guess this post was just to stir up crap. Originator didnt even have a leg to stand on to support any of his arguements. Poker has been played in various forms since the 1600's if not sooner, yet holdem originated in the 1900's and was originally created by the casinos to host a game that provides a more hands per hour ratio, hence more money to the house. Rocco strikes me as a player who joins a limit game and complains cuz he cant push someone off their $20 blind. If you don't like the game, don't play it. The majority of the NL players that can't stand a limit game, do it for the simple reason they havent tried to learn it. All-in or fold is a mentality that is ruining true poker.
