My friend had his account compromised, they then logged into his account which he had over $2,500.00 in it at the time, and the sent a 2,500.00 gift certificate to another account. He then cashed in the Gift Certificate and lost the $2,500.00 to some players, which no doubt are his friends, so now they can cash out. When he asked FTP for his hand history, they would not give it to him. Then he told FTP that in your rules you state that any sign of cheating that you will freeze all accounts and funds. And FTP refuses.
You would figure that anyone trying to send a $2,500.00 Gift Certificate that FTP would send them an E-mail and ask him to verify that it was indeed him. But they don't. He figured out his account was compromised when FTP sent him an E-mail asking if he requested that his E-mail addy be changed. He then replied back to FTP and said he never made a request and then they froze his account.
They can send a request if you want to change your email but they cannot do the same when you want to send someone a 2,500.00 gift certificate, how lame is this BS. Anyway everyone beware of the scammers out there. This is going to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, VIA means of a friend of his family, i will not say what US Senator it is. |

Obviously its not Full Tilt's fault that your friend's account was compromised - still, it should be easy enough for them to trace where the money went and get it back.
What response has he had from support? I'd be surprised if they let this one go unchecked. |

No they said the money is gone, and since it was lost to players they are unable to get the money back, which is total BS. Why would someone go through all that trouble knowing there is no way to get the money back? If their tech Support answered E-Mails they might have been able to catch them, but when it takes 2 days to get a response from them, the crooks have plenty of time to escape.!
