Pretty much I was second in chips at the moment and got this hand going up against the chip leader in the tourney. I know I shouldn't of gone all in but at the time I had put him on a lower Flush so i phased everything else out.
I think that I should of reraised his bet to maybe push him out. I called hoping to get more money in the pot and got screwed.
Take a look and tell me what you would have done in my position.
Thanks

| yeah, what you did wrong was not to re-raise after you hit your A high flush on the flop. Maybe you were worried about the straight flush, but you can't worry about that when you have A high, have to go with it. Maybe that guy would have called you and won anyhow though, so I say you made the wrong play, but acheived the right result, so indeed it may be perfect. To me Omaha is about getting in your stack with the nuts at the time and occassionally 2nd nuts, but when you get sucked out on, if you practice proper bankroll management, you should be able to take those hits and end up profitable. I think Omaha is all about patience and folding a lot pre-flop waiting for playable hands. |
