I don't understand this betting here at all. Should I submit it to support? It seems as though he was just building a pot w/no chance to win either end.
Maybe he got his hand confused, trying to play 3 hole cards, but it seems as though he was somewhat competent in playing.

It wont hurt to send in a report. They can look and see how often those two play together and see if this has happened before.
It looks like either he was pumping for Formic or he thought he had the straight. |

| I just don't understand how someone can seem competent if they're playing J8TK from UTG. I'd buy that he thought he had a straight. After having people pushing all in over the top of me in $26 buy in PLO event with 666x and listening to some people talk to me at live tournaments about their hand selection process I'm not surprised at all. At the same time I'm with Pil, it wouldn't hurt to send to support. People who collude should be shot. |

If he was trying to juice up the pot for his buddy, it doesn't seem like a clear spot to do it. Formic could have easily been up against a hand that leaves him 1/4'd.
Formic cannot feel comfortable about anything except splitting. It seems fortunate for him that he got the high, considering the Queen on the flop, and the paired board on the turn.
If Formic had a hand like 236x, 2355, or 23QQ, I'd be very suspicious.
In this instance, it just seems like the other guy was playing 3 in his hand for the straight.
But with that said, it wouldn't hurt to send it in anyhow, maybe it will uncover more instances of this. |
