Yes, maybe not kings, but I've received quads in Omaha8 a few times.

But what bothered me more was KhQhJhTh - felt very much like AAA in razz.

The problem with being dealt that kind of hand is you're so vulnerable to what the board gives you. You can't do better than a boat, but to hit that, the odds of that are so low.

Fortunately, for me, I've never been dealt that kind of hand. I've been dealt trips a few times, and even those, proceed with caution.

Four of a kind preflop. FOLD!!!! I don't care if they are A's. Odds of you making a better hand are non-existant. The bord does not usually geive a set and even if it did the chances of someone having the case card are high. I would not laugh at anyone folding quads preflop. Trips I woupld play only if I had straight run or flush run, but hen would see flop and go from there.
