I inquired to Full Tilt support about using the Visa debit card method to deposit and then using the check withdraw method to withdraw. Make this a sticky on the FAQ section so other people like me can find this info easily. I am including an email from support telling me exactly what is needed.

The legislation passed by the U.S. Congress attached to the Safe Ports Act of 2006 was a surprising disappointment to us. Though a few poker sites have decided to stop allowing US players access to their real-money games, we will not be following suit.
The passage of the new Internet Gaming law will not have any impact on your day-to-day experience at Full Tilt Poker. We will provide all of our players, everywhere in the world, with full access to all of our games and tournaments.
While we cannot make assumptions regarding what impact the recent bill will have on various payment processors, we have been assured that funds will continue to move in much the same way as before. Rest assured, you will always be able to access the funds in your account.
Also, the new U.S. legislation does not in any way attempt to criminalize the act of playing poker online. By playing at Full Tilt Poker, you are not breaking any U.S. Federal laws.
Full Tilt Poker will continue to provide all of our players worldwide with the usual top notch and thoroughly enjoyable online poker action that has become our standard.
As regards your question on withdrawing funds from your Full Tilt Poker account, we do recommend that you create an account with a payment processor such as ePassporte or MyWebATM, as it is the fastest way to receive your funds. To create an account, with either of these, simply follow our convenient guide located at:

Please note before any withdrawal can be sent via your chosen payment
processor, you would need to make a successful deposit, using this method, in order to register your payment account to file.
Withdrawals sent via a payment processor, would be sent within 48 hours to your processor account.
If you encounter problems while depositing, or opening your payment processor account, Tilt Pay Support provides deposit assistance on behalf of Full Tilt Poker, and they will be happy to assist you. You can speak with a representative over the phone by calling Tilt Pay Support toll-free at: 1-888-TILT-PAY (1 888 845 8729). Please note that Tilt Pay Support can only assist with deposit issues and are unable to assist with general support questions.
However, if you do not wish to use a payment processor, Full Tilt Poker allows you to withdraw via check.
You may request a check withdrawal once per 24 hours and up to twice every 7 days. Checks can be requested for withdrawals between $150 and $5,000.
Checks are delivered by USPS mail and average 10 business days for delivery (from the time of your withdrawal request: 1-3 days processing and 3-7 days delivery time). Business days are Monday through Friday with the exception of bank observed holidays.
Prior to your first check withdrawal, we will need you to verify your account information by sending us valid photo ID and proof of address. Please email us a clear scan of these documents:
1) Photo ID:
One of the following: Valid Driver's License, Passport, Government-issued ID
2) Proof of Address:
One of the following: Bank/Credit Card statement, Utility Bill, Cell Phone Bill, Home or Auto Insurance papers (recently dated ? within past 60 days).
Requirements:
- Scans must be clear and legible (400 dpi+ recommended)
- Only full documents accepted (bill or pay stubs do not apply)
- Address verification must match your Full Tilt Poker account
We prefer that you email us scanned images of your documents. However, you may also fax these documents toll-free in North America to 1-877-TILT-FAX (1-877-845-8329). Please remember to include your Player ID on all pages.
Once you are verified for checks, you may request a withdrawal through the Cashier window for the amount you want to cash out. After pressing "OK", you will receive an automated email from Full Tilt Poker confirming that your request is being processed and a follow-up email once it has been approved or declined.
NOTE: If you bank with Citizens Bank (US), we advise you to contact Full Tilt Poker Support at support@fulltiltpoker.com prior to depositing your check at a Citizens Bank branch or ATM to avoid lengthy delays.
