Good advice on the prepaid card. I had to run around for 2 hours before I found a place that sold them. Now that I'm home I can't even use it cause the card I have is a temp. one which cannot be used as a credit card. Shipping time ten to twelve days, so I won't be playing poker tonight or this week. It better work when I get it our I'm gonna get really pissed off. This is nice I'm on f******* tilt and I havn't started playing yet. |

Ok, well no one else brought this up, so I guess I will!
What about a debit card? Wouldn’t it be possible to just take my debit card for the bank that I already go to and already have a checking account for, and just deposit money onto FTP with it? (I have credit union one if it makes a difference?) Or is that precisely what the law doesn’t allow: banks to transfer money to online gambling sites?
If that’s what the law mandates, then how is it that epassport or other sites, they are basically a checking/debit card account work at all?
If you can deposit with a normal debit card, if you were to withdraw could you just have them charge your debit card with the amount that you would like to withdraw?
(Basically what I’m asking is can you use a normal bank account to do what you do with such websites as epassporte?) |

Does anyone have a phone number for FTP? I have been trying to get a check mailed to me for days, and they just send me automated emails telling me irrelevant crap. I need to call and talk to a human.
thanks |

I have read posts from people with debit cards from smaller banks that they work. Try yours and see. Note also that is not a guarantee that it will continue to work. I have also seen posts from people saying that it worked at one stage, but failed at a later date.
And yes, that is exactly what the law mandates - cannot make financial transactions with places that allow gambling.

Well there are two reasons.
a) Not a US company, and thus not subject to US laws, and
b) Arguments about interpretation of the finer points of the law.

Not anymore. Apparently this used to be an option for some sites, that they would allow you to withdraw up to your initial deposit as a refund to your credit/debit card. But for some reason that is no longer available. |

I made a $200 deposit with an "All Access" Pre-Paid Visa. When searching on the web for store that sold them, I made sure to include "All-Access" in to the search. For quick, instant deposits, i'd say that's the best.
Still doesnt help you for withdrawls, i'm currently using ePassporte and it works fine. Take 7 full days to process your request though, sort of annoying. |

I bought a prepaid visa last night havent been able to use it yet though.
Somehow I got the wrong zip code in my registration then couldnt log in
to my account to get my vital info (3 digit verification code).
Now got to wait 24 hours to try to log in again from last nights time.
Hopfully after work tonight I can try again with the right info )called support)
Tried to get the info from them but all they can acess is my normal info
Exp Date etc not the 3 digi security code.
O well hopefuly tonight it will work if not wait 7 busines days for hardcard.
Then try from there to see how it goes. I also use epassporte wich does
work reliably for depositing and withdawing to. Just takes 7 busines days for the deposits. |

Cash Transfer lets you quickly send money to Full Tilt Poker in person
by going to a Western Union agent. It works by you sending payment for
Your deposit amount to the receiver they tell you to send it to, responses via: cashier@fulltiltpoker.com, and then we will verify and
collect the funds from your transfer to put in your Full Tilt Poker
Account. Cash Transfer works ONLY WITH WESTERN UNION WITH A $250.00 MINIMUM PLUS whatever FEE it cost to send whatever amount you chose over the 250.00-AND WHAM! YOUR IN, just follow a few easy steps, with this code and that email, by the next morning your good to go! look into it, again 250.00 is a rather large minimum for some IM sure, but THIS appears to BE THE FASTEST MOST SIMPLE WAY TO FUND YOUR FTP REAL MONEY ACCOUNT'S!! OR YOU Can just wait the 7 days, in which this is the route we decided to Use we just got the two micro deposits to show up on our bank statement and completed to verification set up with epass, and We Just deposited 250.00 for the 5.00 fee, into epassport, see you on or around the 17th should be just in time for one of the FTOP events,,,,,(Now we all know to just plan a little ahead i guess so the wait time isn't that bad) But we hear you all and agree it is total B/S) Were So Glad we are all Joining the PPA for what??? they passed a law to make it legal, Yeah, but it also made it possible, apparently for major prevention by many credit card co.'s for any of us to use our own money via master, visa, and all of the above, Only Direct payments to FTP from your bank will and can be blocked-null and Void, not allowed to fund any type of e-gaming site (e-gaming)=(equals= real money gambling!!! They know what it is by that, they know when and where you are trying to use your card/money). (You need the middle man, no other way out for now), as In epassport being YOUR funding bottom line, THE 5.00 fee for a 100.00 deposit is not that bad, and nothing one full house can't take care of,
Thanks for the gift card update, i was most skeptical of even bothering to try that method, and glad we didn't, we'll just wait till e-pass re re re establishes our already established account. early this week we were verified and ready to GO, now were set to load funds into full tilt ON 5/17 another week wait from when we sent the money to epass!OK, whew, So, ..... We were just wondering,.....does all this make us less of a caveman because we choose epassporte? LMAO/lololol, Good Luck ALL!!!!

I went to Kinko's today, and obtained the needed scans. Total cost around $14.00, including two scans of my driver's license, in both 400dpi and 200dpi, just in case the larger file couldn't be emailed.
At 19:09 system time today, 05-10-07, I sent the following email to cashier@fulltiltpoker.com
----------
Re: Clamper13
I would like to prepare my account to qualify for check withdrawal. It is my intent to request a check withdrawal soon after the approval process is completed. Attached please find scans of my current driver's license, a recent utility bill, and a recent mortgage statement.
Please let me know me if these scans are of a sufficient type and quality. If you require any additional identification or information, please let me know.
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.

I'll wait a couple/three days. If I haven't heard anything by then, then I'll send a gentle follow-up.
On a side note. To the Tin-Hat Club, so far the "cashout doomswitch" has yet to be activated. |

| If you provide support with all the details ahead of time, it would speed up the process. I recommend reading Clamper's first check withdrawal thread, as it is probably the most recent. |
