If you start a thread in this forum, please try to be descriptive with the Subject line. Now that the name is different, it's hard to tell what's something interesting and what's just another bad beat post.

Amen to that.

I love reading funny or interesting stories about poker, but I'd rather just skip the bad beat threads.

Hearing bad beat stories is like antes. If your going to be involved in the game, there is no avoiding them.

+1

There is one guy at my local poker tournies who is chronic for coming up and telling you his bad beat stories. Every night when I arrive I see approaching and it invariably starts: "Oh man, you should've seen what happend last night. I had pocket....." Everytime. I have since worked out he has real problems playing pocker pairs, but he is such a genuinely friendly and nice person I can't say "**** off. I see bad beats everyday."
