He used the usual excuse, "i though u were bluffing, and i had notes on him , he was a fish and a losing player. SO i played it strong and boom.
Thoughts.

Yeah; it is a bad beat, but it was avoidable. First, I don't really like your call preflop w/ KQT2. It's not really a great hand, and you're out of position for the rest of the action. I'd imagine your somewhere near a 3:2 dog preflop (I'm too lazy to plug it into Twodimes right now).

Second; I think your turn bet is awful. Any aces up will beat you, or any kings up. Once he calls the flop, I think you have to go into check call/fold mode once the ace hits. Of course, you have notes on him, so that's up to your discretion.

You're pretty much right that my hand was not that strong and vulnerable, but I only played it because of the way he was playing and put him on an air flop and a very weak hand, but not QQ. Just dont know how he called even if i was bluffing,. i had to have outs in worst case.

Why would he want to avoid this bad beat? I mean, yeah, it's a real kick in the nuts when the case Queen falls on the river, but that's the one part of the hand he couldn't control. Other than that, seems like he had a perfect read on the guy and just suffered the consequences when his opponent hit the lottery.

This is definitely not the type of hand where you go back and analyze your play to see what you could have done differently...

Why would he want to avoid this bad beat?

I don't think I worded that statement too well. I should have said that he could have avoided losing all his money on that hand, especially when the ace turned. Obviously; there was no way he could put him on something as weak as QQxx when he flat called the flop raise, but if this guy was as fishy as pokerfreak says, AKxx pops right into my head. I just think that this is an easy check fold on the turn for two reasons:

A) If he has AKxx, we have 2 boat outs on the turn. If pokerfreak had spade redraws, then I absolutely agree in putting the money in here. But since he doesn't, why put most of your money in when your two pair is likely to be no good anymore. The only hand you can really beat on the turn is something like JJ62.

B) This ties into my first point, but why put your money in against a bad player w/ such marginal hand on the turn? If you had such an edge on this guy, why not wait for when you had a virtual lock on the hand, and catch him overplaying some junk?

While that did happen here, there's no way to put him on a hand as weak as QQ in this spot based on the flop action. Heck, he could even have something as bad as A6xx or A2xx, and we're still in awful shape (no more than 4 outs) on the turn. I just think that pokerfreak could have saved his money for a better spot to bust this guy than this hand.
