Ok, I've seen an a-9 lose to a 2-7, so I'm wondering what determines the winner exactly. Do you count up the cards and see who's lowest? Is it the 7 that won over the 9, and not the A over the 2? Is it a combination? I'm confused.
I've been playing some limit razz, I find the game fun to bluff in. I seem to be more successful in it than hold em tournaments lately, but I've been donking around in hold em lately too. |

| Pick the 5 lowest cards, then start with the highest card and work down. 7 low beats 9 low even if it's 9 4 3 2 A vs 7 6 5 4 2. |

A2349 loses to 45678.
Look at it as a 9432A vs a 87654, where 8 is lower than 9. |

| Ok so I'm always looking for the lowest 5th card? That makes it easier. |

Yea, Razz is tricky when you start playing it. Once you start playing it and becoming a better player, it gets much more fun. |

| I love having crappy cards showing when my hidden cards give me the nuts, easy to put money in the pot then. |

LOL yeah I almost had a royal flush showing once. Everyone kept checking so I couldn't just fold
Ok, I lost a hand and don't understand why, please explain it to me.
I had 8,7,3,2,A, he had 8,6,4,3,2
After the 8, does it go to the next card? His 6 beats my 7... that's what I thought. I steadily lost my stack after this one |

yup. 8 ties 8. 6 beats 7. and as long as he has 3 more unpaired cards lower than that, hes good to go. |
