I'm tired of hearing complaints about people "catching it on the river". If your any good as a playing poker, you'd be calculating your odds as to whether or not it is worth staying in and what are your chances of making a hand.

I admit, alot of people do alot of chasing, however, if you know how to basically calculate your odds, you will come out better for it in the long run!

My last thought is...why complain, more often than not...you will be the winner and river rats will be the losers...unless they calculate odds.

I think it's funny that even if people go all in preflop, somebody catching a card on the river to win is seen as being much worse than them catching that same card on the flop or turn. It makes no difference, folks!

for me if i got someone all in pre-flop and i see that i'm dominating,(AAvs.AK) then it does matter (to me) when my opponent catches their hand.if the flop is rags and the turn is a K i'm thinkin dude has 5-10% chance of winning,so i'm feeling good.when i see the third K come on the river, i get a lump in my throat.if the flop was K,K,8(rainbow)then i pretty much no i'm done and i stand up.(for me) i would rather lose because i got out flopped than lose with one card to come, being 95% favorite to win.I can move on easier knowing i was 80% to lose after the flop than 80% to win.then again i'm new.
