Thoughts??

Villain is 25/15/2.5 Seen him call down TT on a multiway flop with 2 overcards, so possibly a calling station.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) from (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Preflop: Hero is CO with , .
4 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) , , (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (5.25 BB) (2 players)
BB bets, Hero ???

Screams draw to me, and all I can beat is a 7 or a bluff. Is that worth 6.25:1?

Easy fold here. He is not attempting a check raise on the river because it is a scary board, so he is value betting the str8 he just hit.

And let's not forget, you only have 2nd pair here.

If he is bluffing, then its a good bluff, but i think i save a big bet here.

Certainly some kind of 8 from the blind, probably suited. He flopped the OESD and check-called until it hit. No way is 3rd pair good here. Easy fold.

I'm not sure what you mean by screams draw unless you mean screams draw that hit. 6.25 to 1 is harder to give up than what has been suggested in this thread but i'd be confident in doing specifically in this scenario. However, if you have a detailed history of villain having strange river patterns, excessive river aggressiveness, or overall general trickiness then call here. You have to basically be ~86% certain you are beat to make this laydown.
