The declined neteller insta-cash transactions are due to the two founders of neteller being arrested in the U.S. for money laundering. A U.S. federal procecutors office charged them for creating an internet site facilitating the transfer of money to internet gaming sites, for U.S. citizens for the purpose of unlawful internet gambling.
This action took place because Bill Frist thinks playing poker is immoral.
From what I read so far, neteller has blocked Insta-cash transactions for fear that U.S. banks may not honor the transaction when it is presented. Neteller is expected to release a statement today, but has not yet.
From what I understand, the Insta-Cash ban is only temporary, and neteller is expected to announce that they are no longer going to serve U.S. customers, period. In fact, Bodog already has stopped doing business with Neteller altogether, starting today.
Neteller has stopped trading on the london stock exchange, for the time being.
This is just what I've learned so far. My sources are Cardplayer.com, Neteller press releases, Bodog.com, and other news sites online.
Check out these places for more info.
