I found that I was behind on the flop... secondary information at this point... I was utterly disgusted and furious after the showdown and asked him (sphorse) what the hell he was thinking. He says... breaking you... can you believe that **** little sh*t??

On the flop, no pair, no draw, calling bets from the preflop raiser and then another raise from behind him. Un-goddamn-believable.

Two serious questions though...why would you berate this guy? Why question his play at all instead of saying nh and moving on? Do you want him to not chase in the future? Why do you have an interest in his improved play?

Second, once you started getting raised, did you think you might be beat since your hand never improved? Granted, they called the initial bet with nothing, but I'd have guessed that someone hit their set the way they were betting. Think about it...if someone had stayed with 66, how would the betting have gone? And, when the cards really straightened on the turn, you re-raised...why?

Make a note of sphorse and Bob Macaphie and then take back all that dough they sucked out of you.

The play in question is not on my behalf. I believed I was ahead, this is why people raise, yes? I'd been on this table for hours and saw similiar garbage, giving me reason to believe I could have been ahead.

I saw that I was beat, I wont question that. Losing to a perfect perfect straight after all the money was invested will piss anyone off.

No, I understand why you posted here, that's what the forum is for. I understand why you're pissed at this idiot, I don't understand why you were berating him at the table. The best thing he can do for you is to NOT correct this play, so why do anything that makes him question that his play was the right one?

I don't understand your comment that the play in question wasn't on your behalf. I was questioning your play after the flop raise/reraise situation.

Agreed. Tell him, "wow, way to stay in! That took courage!" and move on. You want him to do that every single time. Meanwhile, you can throw things across your room if it will make you feel better...
