You got the triple brick on the end. It can cause you to go nuts in RAZZ. Mad

raising on 5th gave you away that you were willing to bluff the hand but started pretty good. I would have called in 5th, called on 6th then raised on 7th maybe...you were showing a hand that he thought he could beat, but the raising is what killed you.

I wouldnt have folded but I would have proceeded with caution until I hit a 7 or maybe 8 low

Check/fold on 7th unless you've seen him fold to raises on 7th in the past with a less than premium hand. He obviously had a 9 and could've drawn a better hand on the end. And yes, you were right to call on every street but 7th.

The same thing happened to me my second time playing razz. I kept raising every chance I got. I knew I had the best hand at the time, but apparantly in razz that doesn't mean anything. What should I have done? Maybe I shouldn't have kept raising after 5th street.

Dardub, you played it perfect until 5th, where I would have slowed down a little bit and check/called. I'm not a big fan of raisng the monster draw in razz vs a made hand better than a 9. Your opponent had what you could only assume was a made 7 and the other donk caught a 2 on 6th for his chance at a miracle river. A 2 3 4 brick brick brick. Better get used to it. LOL.
