| How is this for a bad run of cards. In the last 3 days I have flopped two pair from the big blind when the table limped to me eight times. I have not yet slow played and have bet hard from the flop on. I have lost all eight times to river cards giving my opponent a higher two pair. One time my opponent called a pot sized bet with just two over cards ( KJ ). He hit runner runner K J for the higher two pair. The poker gods are playing cruel jokes on me. I wish they would pick on somebody else for a little while. |

I can put ya'll to shame.
I missed a good 24 flushes in a row, once went 2 months without a winning day (eh)..
I decided to take a week off, and when i come back, pocket aces 4 times in a 1 hour sitting.
Wtf. And i won alot too. |

| wait a minute add another one to the list. Someone just rivered a 3 outer on me to knock me out of the sit n go. Is their a poker prayer I am supposed to be saying that I don't know about? Maybe some of the fish on this site can tell me what they say when the flop comes and they realize they have only 3 outs. Whatever it is it's working. |

| If you think about it, the # of times someone sucks out on you, and the number of times you suck out on another player is probably about equal. It's just you only remember the times you get sucked out on. Every time someone hits a 2 outer, or gets their flush on the river, I get mad, but then I think about the times I've done the same to someone else. |

Actually, this shouldnt be so. Good players should be getting their money in while they're ahead, so they should be winning because they had the best hand from the start, not because they sucked out, and losing because they were sucked out on, not because they went in with the worst hand. So yes, good players get sucked out on more, but they also win far more. |

You dont want to be sucking out on people because that means your not going in with the best hand. The way to win money at this game is by being ahead in hands not by sucking out for wins. |
