| Playing against an idiot who can't fold Q high makes that a good play I guess, but I'm usually folding there. You can make the pot odds argument to call too many pots for my taste. |

At this point in a tourament you are trying to amass chips. When it gets back around to me it's 50 more for me to see a flop in an 875 pot. I'm getting 17.5:1 to see a flop. I def win this pot at the least one time out of 17.5 and that's just breaking even. I most likely win this hand more than 1 time out of 17.5 making it a +EV play and a great chance to amass a ton of chips if I hit a hand like the trips and someone with an overpair or TP stacks off to me. So not only is there excellent pot odds to play there are endless implied odds. |

You definitely had to call the last 50, but calling the original 100 is -EV in my opinion. And it's even more troublesome when you had a min bettor and a min raiser in front of you so you are open to another round of raises. |

| I think this is kinda results oriented (buzz term of the week). You were up against a bunch of minraises with a hand that needed a mircale, and you got one. |

| I don't think you should have called the first t100, but the final t50 I agree you were priced in. And yeah, um you got lucky to hit, and then just as lucky when some doofus decides to shove at you |

not in the blind, maybe if i was on the button but unlikely. The blind did play a major part in this having some of my money already committed. |

there is also a thing called implied odds which works it's way into these types of situations. B/c of all the people in the hand my implied odds shot through the roof if I hit a hand (not TP, that's not a real hand in this kind of pot) I'm almost assuradly getting paid off and in a big way. |

You also have to worry about reverse implied odds. If someone had KK (not unreasonable considering the bets), you go broke here.
You should post this at TB ridic and see what they say there. |
