Anyone think I messed this hand up? (eventhough I won) I had a pretty good chip lead and knew he could re-raise me if he thought I was bluffing on 3rd street. After that the cards played itself.

| no, was not a bad play at all, you showed having the best...as a matter of fact when he went in, you did have best, was a great play, especially with your stack, good play |

The raise and capping on 3rd was good from then on the hand tends to play its self.
Even with pairing on 5th with the amount of money in the pot the limited amount left by your op, you still have a good chance at a wheel 6,7 low, plus your op that is behind you and can still hit bads cards as well.
Its becomes an automatic call/raise to the river.
If you hadn't played this hand this way you would have messed up. |
