no raise preflop...both checked on flop...both all in turn.
Yeah you're right, why would I ever think a 4 of a kind beating a full house on the flop is a bad beat.

True, it's not a bad beat, because he was never ahead, but losing to quads always hurts, especially when you have a boat. I'm sure when he saw the flop he was like, "BINGO!". Then he may have done a little dance is his chair, like the hardware guy in those stupid Value Hardware commercials ("Value has everything you neeeed."), and maybe even called a friend over to take a gander. Then, I'm sure he thought about how to best play his opponent, all the while his opponent's thinking of a way to play him.
It sucks. |
