What: MTT tournament for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
When: Saturday, January 6, 2007
Time: 19:00 Server time (that's 7 p.m. EST)
Cost: $5 + $5 ($10 total)
Password: grant (this is also listed on the client)

All proceeds from the additional $5 will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: http://www.stjude.org/

Prizes: Standard prize pool

Additional Prizes: I will order the winner of this tournament a FTP hoodie. This can be the old style or the new contrast panel, winner's choice.

There will also be a "secret bounty" on an entrant of my choice. If you'd like to help pitch in for this email me at: gypsydc@yahoo.com Only myself and the person who the bounty gets put on will know (I'll let Rick know who it is for honesty). In the event that I would win the bounty, I won't keep it, I will become the new "hunted".

Here is how this works: The above players have agreed to help pay a secret bounty in addition to one on themselves. If you knock out any of the above players you will receive $5 from that person. The other $5 that they are contributing will go towards knocking out the "secret bounty" whom I will choose. Disclaimer: Fiadmin's $10 is all going toward knocking out Andy Bloch.

This tournament is inspired by Grant Haar. Grant is the son of a very good friend of mine from high school. He is 2 years old now and doing well, but at 8 months he was diagnosed with cancer. I saw him with no hair (eyelashes and brows gone too) and his little chemo port. It's a tough site to see at the least. You can see his webpage at:

Gypsy has very smartly included the password in the tourney info which shows up when you highlight the game.

just registered ... great cause ... I have a special need child of my own ...
i'll have to look into starting a tourny like this for a charity that could benifit kids like my son that have facial malformations (clefts and under developed jaws) but any cause that comes up i'm in.
