| i saw it on espn, and i believe he was asking for applause for the magnitude of the hand and not for himself. if he was just asking for applause for himself, well, then i guess he is just like numerous pros that have been shown on espn, travel channel, etc that are asses that ask for applause. hell, i guess logically i would be an *** too cause i have clapped once or twice when i won a big hand and others also clapped. how dare i |

| once again, i dont think any of us on this thread have been in the same situation as the guy opposing jennifer. I mean, i have never sat in a table at the WSOP with what i believe is a straight flush, and until you do it yourself i dont think you can say how classy this guy should have been, cause you would have been classy and called IMMEDIATELY, as you have been in the same situation |
As soon as the 7 of diamonds hit, he did the amateurish thing and checked his whole cards. Jennifer knew he had hit the miracle hand, anybody watching him knew he had hit something big. He knew what he had.
People are complaining about the fact that he was like "oh i guess i can go see the sites if i lose this" KNOWING that he had an unbeatable hand (no possible higher straight flush out there). That's slow rolling and just being generally classless. If he had taken his time calling without saying a word, I'm sure nobody would have a problem. It's not that he took a whole lot of time (because he didn't), but just what he said. |

| what I thought she was upset about was his speech afterwards. "It takes a straight flush to beat you honey." Or something like that. |
