Limit players will chase. Why no raise to 3$ here on preflop???
I was reading HH and thought the player had flush. ( 3 hearts on board ) |

I just can't bring myself to LRR...
I tend to overplay 1010 from time to time and I like to see cheap flops... |

I don't feel quite so bad now...
I missed a flop when I raised from EP with 77
the flop came AK4, I led out, he raised, I called
turn came a 7 and we capped...
River came a 7, I checked, he bet, I raised, he called...
I checked the muck and he had AK...
Maybe it is better to be more lucky than good...

Well the term runner-runner wouldnt exist if it didnt happen ocasionally, unlucky. I would probably have raised rather than limped preflop but as there is a player in ahead of you, you're probably not going to force the BB maybe even SB out, but it could buy you the button.
Seeing this maniac play reminds me of the strange thing I saw last time I had a long LHE session. Calling stations are common, but this was something I had never seen to this extreme before. It was a genuine, textbook example of a raising station He would limp preflop then raise all the way to the river with even a runner runner straight draw. An absoloute goldmine when I had aces, but I had to return the money when my flopped set was his flopped straight flush |

| I hit the nut flush on the river today but in my excitement failed to notice it paired the board with my heart on the river. i was so excited at the donkey capping the betting I could almost shout! Then i realised I was the donkey! LOL |
