| Man, played at a 3-6 table live today and it was a really wild calling table. I could not believe some of the garbage that peole were cold calling raises with and even calling at all. I love it cause it makes it nice for a TAG O8 player like myself. In an hour's time I only got about 3 playable hands. Some of the guys were just calling & or raising everything and throwing money away left & right. There were many kill pots today in an hours time. It never fails that when I find a juicy table like this one that I get an A2xx hand only once! Happens every time it seems. I got a few other good high only hands but it was way too expensive to call 2 or 3 bets cold with these hands. I ended down about $25 for the session which isn't too bad but it could have been a goldmine so to speak. I saw way too many chasing 3rd or 4th nut low draws only to miss them with no poss of any high at all. Very bad! Anybody have this kind of table routinely at 3-6 and how did you do moneywise?? I know at this kind of table all you have to do is be very patient, wait for a good hand and bet the **** out of it. Wish I would have had a few more hours to play here |

| I am guessing it was the lowest limit offered. So expect it to be played like online 1/2 .5/1.... |

Yea it was. They actually always have a 2-4 O8 on the board but I have never seen them run it. I think that they figure that everyone will migrate to the 3-6 instead which is fine with me. Since I only played for a short time and dealing goes slower in Omaha than in most games, 3 playable hands is just about avg. I guess. Would have been nice to stay there for a few more hours if it were possible.
How is the play at higher levels like 4-8 and upwards? I would assume the 4-8 might still be fairly loose but I'm not sure. This 3-6 table was the "loose dream table" with kills pots all the time. I haven't seen such loose bad calling in a game live like this for a while. |
