I have heard and read that stud in Vegas is pretty much of a dead thing now. I guess before the NLHE craze that it was pretty much the opposite. Too bad cause it is a great game that requires a lot of focus and memory skills. Anybody play stud in Vegas at all recently and if so how was your experience? I am planning on playing some live stud tomorrow here in So Cal. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

That's sad but true. When I first started playing, stud was the majority of games you could find in Vegas. There was three stud games to every one hold em. That started to change after the poker boom, and now after all the on line rooms became so popular, omaha games are easier to find then stud.

Yea, at the card rooms around here it is HE 1st, Omaha and then Stud(if any) Hard to tell just what the next trend might be. A rebirth in 5 card draw?
