I do not know if he was trying to slowplay his AA or if he was just that scared of me...His timidness lost him the hand. I would probably have let it go to a flop re-raise or a check raise on the turn.
People will complain that they lose with their AA all the time, and this hand is an example of why it happens...

| Hey BW, if he would have popped you back after your CR and he put on the heat more you think you would have folded then? I just now finsihed up a $5 LHE s&g here(got 2nd) and was able to get away from JJ twice and 44 twice. 3 of the 4 times I was right. Chalk it up to the other players betting patterns. Good reads on him BW. I like the way you played the hand. When he just called instead of RRing you that told you something for sure. I really can't think of thing I would have done differently here. |

I can only guess that the 2 hearts on the flop worried him, and the third on the turn really upset him.
I'll never understand why someone would bet less on the flop than they did before the flop. It's an incredibly foolish play, as it easily gives proper odds to anyone attempting to draw.
He played that hand pretty badly, in my opinion and deserved to lose that hand.
My only question for you is this; if you're playing TT on the turn expecting that your hand is good (and not worrying about someone with a K or a flush), when the river makes your set, why do you not value bet a little more here? |

I would have raised it preflop for 2 reasons. 1) Value. 2) I think it is a lot easier to work out where you are after the flop, particularly if the flop was something scarier, K J x for example.
Apart from that, you played it very well. I don't get why he didn't raise the turn though with an overpair and a nut flush draw |

My call preflop was that he is a 20/4/1 player. He does not raise too often and I gave him respect for a big hand preflop. |
