I want to know how to find out who wrote the law to ban internet gambling, voted for the law and we know G.W. sign bill into law. So do we take our rage out on the Repulicans on November 7.

Right now all I know is that Full Tilt is the only site that is allowing U.S. citizens to gamble. Besides using ours vote on elections day what can we do to keep this right?

The online gambling community needs to unite.

I guess everyone realizes that the law doesn't really do anything except generate a panic among some other poker sites. I cannot for the life of me see why they are closing their portals to US customers when their commerce is not affected by this sham law.

However, if the US Congress tries to prevent money transfers through Neteller, and other non-US institutions, they will be violating world trade agreements, again. In April 2005, the WTO ruled in favor of Antigua-Barbados, and against the US, that any attempt to restrict or ban online gaming with that nation violated existing Free Trade agreements.

The WTO gave the US one year to comply with existing FTAs, and that year was up in April 2006 and the US hasn't moved on it yet.

Anyway, thanks to FTP and a few other sites for sticking with the law and staying with what works.

Could one of the Tilter Mods explain what forms of deposit Full Tilt is currently accepting? My debit card that I have always used in the past was not accepted.

Here in El Paso Mexico er Texas they have made all Hold em' tournaments illegal. These were small 20-200 player tournaments held mostly in bars. This included Poker runs which for the majority were for charity. At the same time the 8 and 9 ball pool tournaments that I play in several times a week remain unaffected due to the "game of skill" idea.

I hope that the online poker community will make a better stand than the local one here. Assigned here as an active duty soldier I don't have the choice to pack up and leave, but the lack of citizen strength here assures my quick escape at the nearest opportunity.

Stand up America, this is still our country, we pay for it, we can paint it however we want to!!!

The problem is the Internet Gambling Law was part of a larger legislation. The Republicans couldn't get the poker legislation passed by itself, so they had it attached to a "must pass" Safe Port Act.

I found a lot of information about this law from a previous issue of Cardplayer publish last summer. An archived "The Circuit" episode offers a lot of information, which aired at about the same time.

Personally, I've been able to EFT my Neteller "Football" funds of as much as five figures to my B of A accounts without hinderence, so far.

None of the Gaming sites I use for Football wagering have been affected.

although this is somewhat comforting remember one thing-doyle said the same thing at the same time about sticking with the u.s. players!!!-now he will be gone to the u.s. players as of the 28th!!!- if his name is gone ftp cannot make me feel comfy with just this letter-its getting scary and sad at the same time!!
