I tripled my bankroll here in a month.... then decided to withdraw 10%. From that point on its been suckout after suckout after suckout.... then just a few bad tilt plays..... after suckout after suckout after suckout...
In about a day or less I will be back to my original bankroll. Using the 30x sng rule... and not playing outside my roll for tournaments.... losing 3/5 of your bankroll in a matter of days is a pretty LOOOOONG run of variance/curse if you ask me.
I went from having a losing day maybe 1 out of 3 days (and never losing more than I had won on any other day...) to 5 straight losing days not even close to breaking even any of the days. It has been a serious steady bleed of losing 5 out of 6 sngs.... and meeting AA or KK on the bubble in tourneys. First it started with the board four flushing.... that was day 1. Four sngs busted out on the bubble by four flushes when that was their only hope. Then the next few days its higher pocket pairs losing to lower pocket pairs. Now its Gus Hanson hell. People calling raises with 5 3 and hitting a straight. Then to add to the hell I am always up against a hand to my left. The last sng I just played while I was trying to scrape for third chasing about 400 in chips to get me in the guy in the big blind had an ace in my small blind 5 times. I finally busted out all in 88 against A 2 (of course the one live card took it.) Do I just accept that the curse is going to eat all my winnings? |

Who said anything about rigged? The cash out curse is a mythical entity.
.... and yes it takes a truly horrible player to lose A A to A A...... truly horrible. |
