| PS-Any special tips for the spread limit LHE game? I haven't seen one yet at my card rooms but just in case I run into one. |
Remember that you can vary your bet size. You might be able to induce a call with a min bet or get a fold with a max bet. Obviously depends on the game and players involved, but you need to think about your bet size a bit like you would in nl rather than just tossing in fixed size bet. |

Being able to vary your bet size...
I think that is the biggest thing, plus it is cheaper to play than 3-6...
With blinds of 1 and 2 and the ability to vary the bet size. I really like the game. You are able to see many flops in position by limping. It makes for a fun game.
Here is my little bit of wisdom for you...
Many people will bet the strength of their hands and it is quite easy to pick up on...
AJ --------open with 6
AK--------open with 8
AA, KK---open with 10
Same thing happens post flop as well, people bet their hands based on what they flopped.
I open with 8 bucks, or I limp in late position... This way It is hard to put me on a hand. I vary my play enough so that you do not know if I am opening with suited connectors either... |

I agree with Griffin, you wanted to get him to put in as much as possible on the turn. If you knew what he had, you were an eighty twenty favorite.
