Decided to try a couple of games I had never played before.
The first one was Triple Draw. Razz has now lost it's title as my most hated game. That has got to be the most frustrating piece of crap game I have ever played in my life.
The other game I tried was Pineapple. I was suprised at how much I liked that game. I was still getting used to it so I didn't make a killing, but I played it for over four hours and was up five dollars when I left. This was at a .25/.50 level. Didn't want to go to too high of stakes on a game I never played before.
It was nice to try something new after all the years of stud and hold em.
BTW, I would like to invite everyone to join me in my campain to ban internet Triple draw. |

Me and a friend play this game heads up sometimes - Ace to seven, aces play low, with 2 jokers in the pack - 5 card draw. I don't know if it actually exists or not? Makes for some wild heads up play
EG:
I've got a full house - Fives full of sevens
I've got four of a kind.... sevens.
We normally incorporate drinking penalties into it too. |

| If I had to play that game again, there would have to be drinking involved. |

If your interested in trying new games, you should try playing on Paradise Poker's play money tables. They have a wide range of different poker games. I tryed playing on a few of them and it was turned out to be really interesting.
But keep your money of Fulltilt! (not promoting other sites......lol) |

Ultimate Bet has both A-5 and 2-7 Triple Draw. They also have Pineapple. |

That's where I tried them both. Really like Pineapple, but can't always find a game going.
As for trying new games with play money, I think that would be like learning about sex with an inflatable woman. Anything you learn may not apply in the real world. |

I'm not sure, think the last time I played there was about 7months ago, only thing I remeber about it was that it had a wider than normal range of poker games. |

Actually, everything you learn about the game applies at real money tables too. It's what you learn about the players that might not be of much use. If you're used to playing another game for money though, that shouldn't really be a problem. |
