| I just finished playing for the night. I was getting crap cards the whole session. But, you never know when poker affords you opportunities. I missed both these. One hand I'm in the BB with 8d-10d. There's a raise and reraise before it gets to me.....I mucked. If I'd of played the hand to the river I'd of gotten a Q high straight flush. The very next hand, in the SB after a raise and reraise I muck my 6-3os. The flop was 666. Oh man!!! After getting crap cards the whole session I was kicking myself. Back to back missed opportunities. Anyone else have a similar story? |

| Everybody does. You can't focus on what might have been. Those are two crap hands, where given the circumstances, folding was the correct play. Focus your attention on the decisions, not the outcome. You made the right decision by folding them. Do that 100 times, and you will come out ahead. |

One time I folded 7/2 off suit before the flop.....then the flop came 7/7/7!!
Another time I folded 3/9 off suit before the flop. Two 9s came up on the flop.....then another 9 came up on the river!!
Another time, at my home game, I folded an 8/10 suited because someone made a big raise before the flop. I would have ended up busting her and her pocket aces with a Queen High straight flush on the turn!
You cannot kick yourself for it. Poker is just a crazy freakin game. |

I was mad in a low limit game where they had staight flush bonus and I folded 7 T preflop for $8 cold. 9 on the turn for straight flush. It was a $290 jackpot.
Then last week I move seats and less then five minutes later a guy gets a straight flush in the exact seat that I moved from. He sat down right after I got up so there was no missed hand in between. This one was $345 jackpot. |

| That's the first time that's ever happened to me back to back with two hyper monster hands like those. Those were really BB SB specials............lol. To bad it happened at an aggressive table. There wasn't a lot of limping going on. |

That actually happened to me just last night. I had 74os and was in the SB, there was a min raise and another min raise so I folded. Flop was 777 and I nearly wet myself I was laughing so hard. It went to the river and someone took it with a large river bet. After the fold he said he had the quads and I had to chime in. Usually, I won't call someone out if they lie about the cards and I had one they claimed to have, but with quads...I had to let the whole table know he was full of shhh. |

| Last night I had pocket kings, raised preflop, got one caller. Flop came down with the other two kings... I did not get paid. That sucked... |

About 2 weeks ago in a tourney I missed my chance. I was short stacked at the table and was sandwiched between the 2 biggest stacks.
In SB I got dealt 6c 4c, the table folded to the button who raised it to 5BB. I folded, the BB called.
The flop?
2c
3c

A few weeks ago I was UTG with 72 offsuit and folded. A few people limped to the BB who checked. The flop was of course was 772. Argh!
"Why couldn't this have happed one hand latter with ME in the BB!"
But, a few days latter I was in the small blind at a full table with 72 suited and decided to call when almost everyone in front of me limped.
The flop had a Seven which gave me middle pair with a Two kicker. I decided to slow play my hand ( ) and checked. The BB min-bet, and since almost everyone called, I did as well. Again because of the odds I was getting.
The turn was another Seven - I bet, and the River was a Two - giving me a full house.
I took down a nice little pot and wasn't sure whether to be bummed when the last guy folded to my river bet. I'm not sure if it would of been a good thing, or a bad thing, to show it. |

| My stories aren't really as amazing, but once 6-handed, I was dealer facing a raise, reraise, and one raise on top of that. I had pocket 10s, folded, and teh flop gave me quads. Not teh worst story here, but what bothered me was that I took a while to think about calling. |
