My reasoning for not raising preflop is the chipleader has been calling lots of raises with any 4 cards for the most part. I decided to let the flop improve me as opposed to making a huge raise, and then getting stuck with calling off my tournament life with KK. The villain has been playing aggressive post flop, and the money goes to top 7 with 8 people remaining. What do you do here?

I'd max out betting here on the flop. It's a great flop for you, about the best you could hope for short of flopping a boat.

Worst case, I think, is an opponent with a hand like Ah-6h-5s-3s. But even against that hand, you're a 58-to-42 favorite. And obviously, chances are that your opponent doesn't have such a perfect draw.

I'd play to double up here. Don't try to limp into the last money spot -- if you double up, you're #2 in chips and stand to earn a lot more than you would for a 7th, 6th, or 5th place finish.

Bet the maximum. If everybody folds to you, fine, you picked up 2100 chips, which is almost a 30% increase in your stack. If you get called or reraised, you just have to hope that your hand holds up.

Re-raising is what I'd do here. Who knows, maybe he has a draw or 2 random pair and wants to play back at you. If he re-raises then you just shove it all in as the favorite and hope it holds up.

7th place doesnt interest me. I am playing to win, not to make 3 dollars. With that being said, I thought the best chance for me to double up was to push the turn. As it turns out, a club came on the turn, and when I pushed all in, he called with a club draw and K2, 2 pair on the flop. River was a club, and I was out. Thanks for the input guys. I thought about pushing the flop for a second, but second guessed myself and it cost me.

I don't see why not push on the flop. Sets, even top set, almost always run into trouble if you try to get cute. No one takes a club and parries or jabs with it. They just take it and beat someone in the face. Sets are a dull weapon at best, don't imagine for a second that they are for anything other than bludgeoning people on draws.

I know, I know. I just wanted to make sure I made the wrong decision. It was really frustrating because I actually was playing great for the whole tournament. Oh well. I shall move on.
