My friend and I had a discussion about what kind of information you can gather about a player just by looking at him when they sit down at the table. For example, if a young guy with glasses sits down at the table dressed like he's going clubbing he probably isn't a tight player. Conversely, if an elderly person sits down they probably are much tighter, unless they are wearing a cowboy hat in which case they are there to gamble it up.
Are we stereotyping too much. I think these things are not 100% reliable but I think they are a good supplement to any other information you may gather about a player. |
