| Agreed, except they should be Limit, since O8 is by nature a Limit game. There should, however, be a PLO high $50 tourney daily as well. |

| i dont think split poker is by nature a limit game. Especially tourney style. It is impossible to protect your hand playing limit. When they're 3 raises before the flop with 5 callers everyone is getting the price to take a card. You almost have to play the hand backwards.I think split poker is better suited to pot limit. |

Mayor, if that's the case....
In Championship Omaha, by Cloutier and McEvoy, why do the authors cover Limit O8, Limit Omaha High, and PL Omaha High? I believe TJ event mentions that O8 is a limit game.
At the WSOP, why is there no PLO8 tournament? They're all limit.
In any cardroom--Commerce, Bike, Bellagio, why can you always find a Limit O8 game but no PL game?
On Full Tilt, why do you often see Seidel and other pros playing limit O8 but not PLO8? Why is the O8 Bracelet Race limit and not PL? |

| He's right. Everything I read in Super System 2 about O8B is about the limit format. |

- Because the book is a weak-tight waste of money? Hey guys! Nutpeddle! Ha Ha I just saved you $30 and a couple hundred pages of reading. Ok, so that's probably not why he excluded it, but I really hated that book.

- Cardrooms will cover it if you can generate enough interest for a table. It's that lack of interest that keeps them from doing it. I know a cardroom where I live will cover Crazy Pineapple 8/b from time to time because there's interest in it.
I prefer the limit version anyway, but I just figured those two questions could easily be answered by things outside of "O/8 should be limit only!" |

| Spirit, you're right. TJ is way too tight. For a beginner, maybe not a bad strategy, but it's not exactly written for optimal play by an intermediate or advanced player. Point was, though, that it's written by someone whoI think we'd agree is somewhat of an expert on the subject and it does not address PLO8. |
