I just want to know why there isn't more posts for one of the best games out there. Every one just wants to post and complain about NLH. Let someone flop top set with no low or high draw and get chased all the way down to runner runner flush/straight and low(where yours get counterfeited). Play that then come complain. Sorry just wanted to rant.

I know exactly ow you feel. everybody is stuck on NLH. I guess bc its the most simple game to learn. People think they are poker players and the only game they know how to play is NLH. Thats kind of pathetic. Just wanted to rant also. lol

These "suckouts" happen because a player is sticking around to draw to the low end of the pot and end up catching the hi by accident. That is why you only are supposed to play hands that have a shot at scooping so that when you get outdrawn or counterfeited on one side you get the other side at least.

Omaha8 is a redraw game. I don't see to many "suckouts" that didn't come from someone trying to make a low then hit a high. It is a game where you almost want to keep "runner-runner" in the back of your mind when making a call.
