What limits do you guys normally play? I just want to get a feel of the types of players who post here.
I've recently switched over to playing limit exclusively. I frequent the 2/4 and 3/6 tables. |

| Anywhere from $5-$20 SnGs for the most part. I've been playing quite a while, but I'm still not sure if I can really get it done without making really foolish mistakes... |

| I mostly play SNG's but when I play limit it's usually 1/2 or 2/4. Occasionally playing up to 10/20 when I'm feeling especially froggy. |

| I find 3-6 to be the limit where i don't lose too much and still get credit toward my bounty and the iron man. 2-4 doesn't get raked often enough, and i can't handle 5-10 in my current losing mode. Whe I first joined full tilt i went on a winning spree, $600 up, then the bottom fell out and I lost it all plus most of my initial 600 buy in. I am discouraged and ready to quit poker, but i will continue to lose until i get my full 600 buy in bounty, hmmmm, is there some logic there? |

| i've played about 16K hands of 1/2 limit over the past year (i don't play limit exclusively nor do i play poker every day, so i know thats not a lot) I have only made minimal money at this level, so i reckon i will be staying at this level for at least another year. |

1/2 is the first good microlimit imho. Its also the place where I tried my first 6max some eon back. You can make enough money there to buy a nice stereo.
Be wary when you get to 2/4, it is frequently a much more aggressive game. If your site offers anything in between 2/4 and 5/10 I would skip it because you will be playing a duplicate of 2/4. 5/10 is where the money is at and the last limit where you get a good selection of tables with enough fish to support them (across multiple sites if you have to). Be ready for regular opponents to begin profiling you (keeping book on you). And really, at that point you should have PT and you should be keeping book on all your opponents as well. Above that, consider yourself a semi-pro if you can get through 50,000 hands and break even at least. |

I think crazy bangs was responding to me about overplaying ;my limits. No, for one thing, i don't really have any definite limit. I can lose till I get tired of it!!! lol I am just on a losing streak. Altho today, after losing the obligatory $120 at 3-6, i did place (2 1st) in 4 out of 5 sit n go s, I need the 3-6 to get points for the iron man, maybe the good results today are an end to my losing streak...... stay tuned.
On another topic, how do you cut and paste posts, I couldn't figure that out. thanks |

(Nicely as possible) Yea I was asking you,
I stick to the Limit 2/4... but in the am its still hard to find enough people to have 2 or 3 tables..... and I was trying to get points... but I need to stick to the 1/2 to see enough hands and still get some rake.
I know this is the NL header... just inputting...
But I asked a question in the Fixed as well as if people notice any regulars too at their limits and wonder about bots.
