There's no charge to set up the tournament, but you can't have play money buy-ins or a freeroll with no prize pool. You can, however, donate a minimum $25 to the prize pool to have a freeroll. Also, the minimum for a buy-in tournament is $1+0.50. |

To set up a private tournament, simply send an e-mail to privatetournaments@fulltiltpoker.com with all of the following information regarding the tournament you want set up:
Tournament Name:island lakers 3 1/2
Tournament Date:october 07
Tournament Time:23:30
Game to be Played:no limit hold em
Buy-In and Entry Fee:1+.25
Password:kimthut
Expected Turnout:
That's everything, but here are a few other things to be sure to watch for:
The tournament's name can not exceed 25 characters.
The time you choose is clear (If you want a tournament at 4 PM, don't just write 4:00, write 16:00 SERVER TIME). All unlabeled time zones are interpreted as SERVER TIME, which is US ET.
The entry fee must be at least 10% of the buy-in.
The password must be all lower case letters without spaces.
If you want a tournament with something other than a nine player minimum, make that clear in your e-mail. |

I emailed full tilt about setting one up, here is the reply .........
Thank you for your e-mail and tournament request. We offer the opportunity
for you to hold private buyin, money added or freeroll tournaments. It is
possible to set up a private buyin tournament with a minimum rake/juice of
$0.50, with buyins ranging from $0.50+$0.50, $1+$0.50 or $2+$0.50, the
rake/juice is generally 10% of the tournament buyin for $5 tournaments and
above.
It is also possible to set up a private freeroll tournament with a minimum
of $25 added to your prize pool from the tournament hosts player account.
If possible, could you provide the tournament hosts player account as well
as the e-mail address listed on that player account, so that we can
transfer the money to your prize pool.Please reply with the following
basic tournament information:
Name/Title: {at most 25 characters}
Password: {up to 15 characters}
Date:
Time: (Eastern/Server Time)
Buyin: {like $5 + $.50, or $10 + $1}
Game: {usually Hold'em}
Limit: {usually NL, but could be Fixed or Pot Limit}
Amount of minimum players expected:
Hope it helps, I should have one going soon. |

Can someone host a tournament for which a certain percentage of the buy-in or registration fee can go towards a cause specified by the host? Also, are private re-buy and/or add-on tournaments allowed?
Thank you.

Full Tilt Poker is technically the host, and yes they get an entry fee. |

| Am I able to set up a $25 freeroll as a superstack tournament? I might be willing to set one up for some friends if that were the case... |
