I used to have a program years ago that would see the cards. That's an old hack that doesn't work with closed servers. True enough. Collusion is the most used cheat I expect. I have heard of many types of poker cheating, but by far the set up I saw at an aquaintances house is the most elaborate workable way to winning.
The setup included 5 computers with 10 screens. The single or double players that would work these to sit 4 of 6, or 3 to 5 at a 9 player cash table. This is somewhat confusing to do, but is done regularly. The main thing that allowed the accounts, and allowed more then one on a table is that they had set up the accounts to players homes outside their area. Then they have them allow the cheater to take over their computer (same as when they fix your puter from outside source) this allows numerous IP's to sit at the same time without notice from the system. Give me brick and mortar anyday. P.S. they also cheat live.

If I'm the house player, someone needs to call a contractor because the foundation collapsed and I'm laying under rubble. |

Does anyone has really used such to win games here at FTP? I guess no one would admit to using the program to cheat the games.
A side view mirror is cheaper. Maybe I will get one also. |

We dont have to worry about players cheating we have to worry about FULL TILT as the cheats.
Lets see today - I got AA twice and trips 3 times -- lost all of these hands -- bad luck - maybe, but what is always curious is the fact of Full tilt using house players. These players who get outrageous bad beat wins then leave site and never play again. Hmmmmmmm, yea most REAL players want to leave a hot table. Full Tilt PLEASE STOP. Here is an example of house player, now you could say that he is crazy, but he was playing normal for 30 minutes, then this, then leaves site and hasnt played since, hmmmmm

Hmm, what can we say about this post. Firstly it brings a really old topic back up to the foreground, which as its your first post has to kind of make one wonder about second accounts (maybe not of course).
Then it makes claims of rigged games by in house fulltilt player that leaves right after they win a hand. Which for the record is nothing new, most short stack players at tables leave after they double up and then join another table as short stack again.
You claim he hasn't played since.. what since yesterday? Gee, well maybe he doesn't play every day. and based on his bad play, that wouldn't be a surprise. Based on his stack size, either he came to table with odd size stack (possible) or he has been playing pretty badly since he sat down.
Either way, why ressurrect a 3 year old post with this post, which isn't really on the same topic anyway. And as for your name, well that just lends you heaps of creditibility that you are looking at games objectively. |

It's the wild west. There is no law, and thus, no enforcement. Players think they have the sense of security that Vegas offers, but in reality, no law enforcement agency gives a crap about online cheating. It's illegal folks. Do the cops care when the crack dealer gets robbed? No. Do they care when you get robbed? No. Vegas cares when they get robbed. They care when tourists get robbed. They don't care about the jerk palm snatching my dollar chips to bet them, unless I raise hell, cause he is losing them at the table.
The poker sites have been hacked. Doesn't anyone watch Dateline NBC?
SSL encryption? please. It's in FullTilt's interest to pay hackers to stay quiet, no matter how much they steal, as long as they get the rake, and more players to get the rake from.
Who's cheating? Well, in an illegal enterprise that is profiting from law-breakers, I'd say that pretty much everyone is cheating.
I note the colluders, its fairly obvious, and I stay away from them.
I note the river monsters who seem to know what is coming, and I keep that action controlled. They will take anything they can get.
If you are at a table with a lot of noted players, you should find another table.
Get some practice, spend more time waiting for your spots, expect to lose money because you can't play all the spots you would normally play, and pick off those drunks. That should keep you even, and playing.
Even if you know you've been cheated, you can't do anything about it. Back in the days of the wild west, the fastest, most ruthless murderer won the cash, cheat or not.
this game was never about cards. Don't let them fool you. |
