This is a hand from earlier today that I was involved in. The table I sat down at had fairly meager chip stacks for the level, so I just sat w/a little more($60) than the high stack at the time. Seat 1 was raising quite regularly once he sat down. I'm just curious what you guys and gals would do next. Call or fold.

Personally, I would have 3 bet since it is 6max from the sb with AQ. Helps me define what the original raiser had as well as not letting the n00b LAG to my left either get pot odds to come in with random garbage or more importantly it doesn't let him take control of the hand with position on me. If he caps, and the original raiser drops somewhere down the line, there is almost always enough money in the pot to check call the river which will be profitable in the long run because of the higher freq. of bluffs from a LAG.
That being said, a medium amount of money is in the pot, and possibly a mid pocket pair folded or more liekly QJs or a AXs (i'm talking about oneups). Personally, I fold and wait for a better time to check raise the LAG to my left and completely embarrass him until he loses all his money or leaves the game after getting pwned.
Another reasoning for the fold is that he is capable of raising with cards that hit this flop, and since you didn't show him any resistance he believes that his cards are good which is why he fires into two people on the turn. Another possibility is that he had the K-high spade draw and backed into top pair on the turn.
There are just as many ways that A-high is good here, and if you are going to attempt to call someone down with A-high, a paired flop is about as best a situation as you will get as it gives less chance that they paired his/her cards. This could be a marginal +EV situation, or it could be a long time loser--its hard to say because if A-high is good here, typically the LAG has one of the draws in addition to being able to pair any of his cards if he isn't dominated on the turn. IMO, the preflop and flop play is where the aggression should have come from your AQ, this is where the bets are half as much and you can define more what you are up against. Lastly, if there is action on the flop and you back into an A later--you feel a lot more confident that you will pull the pot and get paid.

I do have a feeling u called and found him pushing a missed draw, in which case good job--was it A (RAG)d ? |

| I fold here just because there is 4 of a kind, a boat, 2 flush draws, trips, and 2 pair possible on the board.your hand at best is aces up,i personally let go of the hand and wait for a better situation. The ace you hold is a heart,so if another ace comes it's likely to be a spade or diamond possibly givin your opponent his flush. The queen you hold is a club so if another queen comes it's likely to be a spade or diamond, and it's also 2nd best pair.I would not gamble in this situation there are just too many hands that could beat me. |

I didn't want to cap it and push the short stack out. Player to my left had been building pots freely w/weak aces ,etc and just betting away with Ace high.
*** TURN *** [3s 9s 3d] [Kd]
Zophar checks
akashra bets $4
oneups folds
Zophar raises to $8
julbald sits down
julbald adds $293
akashra has 15 seconds left to act
akashra folds
Uncalled bet of $4 returned to Zophar
Zophar mucks
Zophar wins the pot ($31)
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $32 | Rake $1
