Will be interesting to see if Raymer can solidify his status with a second big win.
With seven left:
1 Mark Seif $ 681,000
2 Peter Lee $ 569,000
3 Greg Raymer $ 532,000
4 Webber Kang $ 461,000
5 Minh Nguyen $ 330,000
6 Bill Gazes $ 300,000
7 James Carter $ 151,000
Given the large number of entrants into the tournament, making the final table is already quite an accomplishment. |

Looks like Raymer's day was a bust:
Webber Kang takes out Greg Raymer
Greg Raymer pushed in pre-flop for 140k and was called by Webber Kang. Kang turned up AJ and Raymer showed pocket 33. The flop came J69 giving Kang a pair of [J]'s to take the lead. Raymer caught no help on the turn, Q, or the river, 4 and was sent home in 6th for $119,450. |

| Minh Nguyen seems to be making every final table. This guy almost won Player of the Year last year, does anyone know how he is doing in terms of that award this year? |

here are my thought on Raymer, now im no awsome player but this is how I see it. He is very impatient you could see this when he played the tornament of champions. He likes to push alot even when there is a pretty good chance he is behind and gets trapped alot because of it. Now dont get me wrong he is a great player and I have total respect for him but I think if he could slow down his game a little he might be even better then he ever could think he could be.
I dont have a gold braclet so obviously I have no room to talk but this is how I see his game. He plugs that hole and he is gonna be awsome. |

| storm..if i remember right from last year, raymer did play rather passively at the wsop main event. perhaps, he just has an image to live up to this year? i mean, look at the 'moneymaker effect.' he hasnt really done anything since his win. |

Yes i do beleive you will make big bets too frequently but he won the wsop doing that so he shouldnt stop now. |
