You know, no team just jumps off the page and screams "SUPER BOWL CHAMP!" Every team has some questions to answer and some holes to fill going into the season.
AFC: Top 4--Pats, Jets, Ravens, Colts
NFC: Top 4--Eagles, Panthers, Vikings, Falcons
None of these teams looks like they will breeze through the season, have the division wrapped up by mid-November, and win fourteen games. Parity is grand, everyone thinks they have a shot--and many actually do! |

| the broncos arent making the playoffs this year... the jags are probably replacing them... but i got to pick the patriots AGAIN, its ridiculous how dominant they have been, especially considering that this is the era of the salary cap and players rarely stay w/ teams for longer than 5 years... the pats could be considered the greatest team to ever be assembled... anybody agree? |

I forget who said the Vikings in the top 4 NFC, but really? After getting trounced by a terrible Bucs team you think they're going to be top 4 NFC? and by the way, Lions have the best record in the NFL |

Maybe I wasn't on crack afterall. lol
and the Vikings will come back. I have confidence they will at least be a playoff team. Another team that has impressed me throughout the preseason and week 1 is the Chiefs. They are a legitmate Superbowl contender. |

Dolphins looked very good, and Ricky Williams DID NOT PLAY. It remains to be seen how much time hes gonna get. The Eagles are a good team, the Falcons are average. Until they get a real quarterback, they will never be exceptional.
Denver is NOT good because Plummer is NOT good
Sleeper picks, ive gotta go with Seattle, although their question mark is Alexander, who might be getting old, and jacksonville, who looked very good yesterday. |

Whoa, whoa, whoa peoples. A little perspective...the regular season is 1/16 done, it's a bit early to be crowning the Dolphins Super Bowl XL champs, or sticking a fork in the Ravens, Jets, Vikings, Eagles, etc. All things considered I would prefer starting 1-0 rather than 0-1, but there's a lot of football still to be played. We learned a few things but it's not as though all the pieces of the playoff puzzle can now be magically fit into place.
Although I guess trash talking is easier when your team has won 100% of their games, leads their division, and on pace to go 16-0 than when they're 6-10 at the end of the year! |

| I, with everybody else is TOTALLY suprised on the Dolphin's win there. A lot of people picked the Broncos in the super-bowl (im not sure why). I think it was more bad play from the Broncos than good play from the dolphins. I'm going to say the Broncos will go 9-7 or 8-8 and just miss the playoffs or possible 10-6 and limp into the playoffs, and the Dolphins will go about 6-10 or 7-9, 7-9 which I highly doubt. |
