I'm wondering what people typically do 6-handed from the small blind if everyone has limped in. You're getting 11:1, is there a hand you're laying down? I personally will call with a pretty wide range of hands, excluding crap like 82o, Q3, etc. Thoughts?

Pot odds pretty much force you to play any two cards, but just don't get attached to them. When you play Q3 and a Queen comes on the flop, don't expect it to hold up. If you hit two pair or trips, you may be able to pick up a few chips.

Also, don't be shocked if the BB decides to punish the limpers and throw out a hefty raise (I would).

I think it's a bad idea.

Sure you're getting great odds to call, but you're not thinking of the money you'll lose playing junk hands. In ring games I generally only like limping from the SB with hands like suited connectors, one gapers, Kxs, Axs and small pair. Hands like A6o, K8o, Q9o and J8o I fold, even with the great odds. They're trouble.

But that's just me. I'm not comfortable playing marginal hands, so I avoid them.

from the small blind, i try to play hands that aren't easily dominated (like A-3 or K-9)... instead, i play hands like 7-9 or 9-10... that way if i hit a flop, i am more comfortable playing it...

I'm more along the lines of KGB. I like two gappers, suited gappers even, hands like J8, T7, even off suit, I'll play it. And like Ghost said, I never get too attached. Thanks, guys.
