I know who you are and you now know who I am. I am so sick and tired of your idiotic pre flop raises with marginal hands at the low limit tables.

This is a game of draws. You can cram your aces occassionally, but in general, they aren't worth crap and are -EV. Its just getting so fu$%ing old. You guys who come over from the NLHE tables and try to cram your "big hands". Well guess what, when everyone at the table calls your raise, your big hands are small hands.

Please just get some frigging patience and play the game right. I'm not saying that you should never raise, just make it fun and not a NL cram fest. Please, I'm begging you. Its so fu%$ing old. Let's play some GD poker.

Thanks.

Now, I agree about not raising so much in limit O8. No hand really dominates another like it does in hold'em. The question I have is why would you want your opponents to play better? If they are making mistakes you should be capitalizing on them right? Since O8 is played mostly post flop all they are doing is building bigger pots for you to win.

I know about not wanting my opponents to "play better" Guitarguy, and I figured somebody would say that. What I would like is for people to play with some semblance of intelligence pre flop. That doesn't mean I want to play with 8 Phil Ivey's, it just gets old when people play so wrecklessly that they ruin the game. This is particularly true in the PLO and PLO8 $5.50 SNGs. Let's just put a little thought process into the game, that's all I'm asking.

I understand your gripe. Blame ESPN, that's all I can say. Just keep grinding it out and you'll end up ahead. Those guys will figure it out when they keep betting their aces and you have a wrap with a flush draw and the nut low.

Now the guys that narrow the field by betting and raising with just a low, that's annoying.

I can certinly agree with you on this one. It seems that the longer they keep showing poker on TV the more people we have to deal with that think raising every single time is the best play. And they are absolutely making their way into our Stud H/L and Omaha games. The part that upsets me the most is not that they do it because even though its a huge pain in the ass it is profitable but its when they get lucky win about ten hands in a row in that fashion and then have to tell you how much more they know than you. I am sure that in the long term they're gonna raise themselves out of a bankroll but for now I wish they would pick up a book and try to at least get themselves up to marginally decent players.

I hear ya MTM. I'm fine with aggressive play. I just wish people were a tad more patient sometimes. What can you do, I guess we just have to deal with it.

I appreciate stupid play. Sometimes it is infuriating and costs me some profit, but just as often it'll get someone to chase to the end with nothing.

I have to reiterate my earlier points. I played a fixed O8 game today and a PLO8 SNG tourney yesterday and I had great hands post flop called down with nothing but a dream. I mean come on, just have a little sense, that's all.

If a tight player is betting into you on a KQ 5 rainbow board and you have an A235 hand you **** fold to that all in bet. Dude caught a ridiculous runner runner flush. I had an AA2 hand and hadn't raised the whole game. I know "that's just poker", but jesus H? All I'm asking is to have SOMETHING on thes calls. The fixed O8 game was even worse, with people playing with NO regard for their money/chips. I know people can play how they want to, but again, have just a touch of sense for the game, just a touch. I don't think I should have to wait all day for a $22 SNG to develop to have a decent game. I don't mind losing one bit, but don't you f'ing fish chase me down and catch some bullcrap straight when you had no business being in the hand in the first place.

I know exactly how you feel, but thats what makes this game so good. In the long run, these kinds of plays will be more profitable. Look at long term success rather than short term. If we were all as good as Phil Ivey, it would be alot harder to make money. Poor players are what increase our bankroll. Good luck to you in the future.

Idiots do suck out, but long term they are bank roll helpers. U dont want everyone to be good. Would like to HAVE more 20 sng, play tight and it will be all good , nothing like a sucker reloading. Very Happy

i don't understand y people in that game are even in the hand when they have nines and tens in their hand. they might as well be playing hold em cuz the nine or the ten really isn't going to hlep.
